What type of usb is compatible for the photon? I baught a 3.0 32gb sandisk and it doesnt work.

Is there something special you have to do for Photon File Validator to get it to work?

I scanned a few files and they came back with "all is good no unsupported areas", and I was a little skeptical that I got them all, so I tried to run it on a file with blatantly obvious islands(picture in comments), and it still said the file was fine, so I'm thinking this app doesn't do what it's supposed to do, or I missed some configuration step. I can even scrub to the layer of the file where the islands first appear at the tips of his horns.

Here is a screen of the test file. There are obvious islands on his horns for instance.

There's not really much to mess up, I'm doing supports in Chitu, and exporting a .photon file in photon workshop and opening that in the Photon File Validator.

First time mixing resins. Went well, the colour looks nice. Im not a big fan of the transparent green at all, so mixed a little of what i have left of the grey to make the green opaque. Ill do that to the rest of the green i think to use it up. Also think i can bring the settings down for more details, as i bumped them up to the grey levels, but its mostly green based.

Two Quick Questions on minis...Remove supports before or after UV cure, and what Orientation should I be using? Might depend on the mini, but I have seen good prints vertical, laying flat, as well as on a 45 degree. Testing now, but want to know what the hive mind typically uses. Thanks.

This morning I helped a friend unbox and get his very first Anycubic photon setup and running, he is now doing first print using one of my Man O War Dwarf ship models as a print.. he joined this community and will likely be posting soon.
