Oh, hey, I finally get to show this! This was my entry in an online miniature conversion and painting contest. Alice and the white rabbit are metal miniatures, and the mushrooms were printed. The gear shroom steps were made in Meshmixer, by heavily modifying a melted gear stl that I found, printed and painted in NMM style. Steampunk Alice took 4th place. ;)

EDIT: I almost forgot! I used a 25/75 Sculpt/Blu mix

I grabbed a big fan/carbon filter for my photon, do you think the fan and the photon being on the same surface would cause issues? I have the option to put them on different surfaces but i am using an old wardrobe and trying not to mod it too much, i guess i could also mount the fan on a wall instead of the base, but i am also afraid that would cause even more vibration

So after finishing with Bell 206 I finally started working on my Eurocopter Tiger. Started with wings and weapons mounts and the tail section.
All weapons and scale fittings printed on photon. Only the big stuff (vertical stabilizer replacement) is done on Prusa /FDM.
And the 3rd tool for the job being a vinyl cutter for all those little panels etc.

My great but reasonably-priced “Nylon-like” material is 50% Elegoo White with 50% Siraya Tenacious.

I print at 150 microns for 21 seconds on Photon or 16 seconds on EPAX X1.

Or 100 microns with 16 seconds Photon or 14 seconds for EPAX.

Don’t even bother with 50 microns. This is a formula for smooth parts. Everyone asks for the most detailed resins but detail is bad for most molded parts. Smooth is a feature.

It sticks like crazy to the build plate.

I ordered 20 more KG of Tenacious as I can’t risk it selling out.

Are there any tutorials to help understand exactly where supports should be placed using Chitubox? I would imagine that if a support isn't touching the lowest point on an object, that the print would fail as that point would just fall out of the sky so to speak even if there was a support say a centimeter further down???

I need a slicer program that will work with my laptop or a cloud slicing program. I've tried Anycubic slicer and Chitu slicer and neither of them will load files. I've tried Chitubox and it works but it won't let me add custom supports, I would try the open source slicer but Meshmixer won't even start on my laptop. This laptop is Win10 i7, 8gigs of ram 256gig SSD and I run Cura, Repetier, Slic3r, Blender, S3d, Tinkercad(cloudbased) tons of other memory hog software like Photoshop and Premiere and it never lets me down until I started resin printing!
