Just got my printer. First print.

I'm very interested in tough, resilient resins for printing engineering parts for use in the real world, so I started putting together a list of all of the "tough" resins I could easily find. I'm sure I've missed a few, and some of them I couldn't find data for. Still, I hope some of you may find this useful, and please feel free to chime in if I've overlooked something!

Also including Flexible resins to see how much stretch you can get for your buck.

Of course this isn't always going to be a fair comparison because it requires everyone carry out their testing to the same standard and advertise the same numbers, which they don't. Please keep that in mind.

I haven’t tried printing flat yet any pointers ? And will it print ? ( 1 mm thickness)

I just bought the Photon recently and it printed well for the past 2 weeks until some problems occurred. The user interface is ok, I still able to select certain functions but the fan is not working, Z stepper motor no moving, no UV exposure light on the LCD screen. Could anyone guide me on the troubleshooting ?

Hi, I just got my Photon late last week and have been having a lot of fun with it. My results have been generally good, though I am trying to print some dice for my son and am have a problem with the print breaking free from the supports. Because they are dice I want some weight to them, so they are solid. Any ideas. I just started a print on a single die, this time with Heavy Supports.

Anyone ever lost power during a print? My printer is stuck with the adhesion bed near the bottom in the VAT and I am unable to get it to move. Is there a software reset or something somewhere on the printer? If I go to print a new file it starts at 4% on the display but nothing happens. Its stuck and i want to Print!

Let's talk flex resin.

I still just use Anycubic green resin, ( I primarily print d&d minis so since I prime them I don't see the reason to change the resin) however I was thinking I should start mixing in flex resin for better durability. When a mini falls their weapons tend to break.

Anyone who use flex resin think it's worth it? And what's the price range for them?

Well my photon arrived today, setting up tomorrow and will do some test prints on Wednesday.
Somewhat nervous as the negative comments seem to outweigh the positives ?
Any advice for a total novice?
