Successful first print. After cleaning the "thingee the print sticks to" (NMH), I discovered some of the resin ran onto the topside (because I was holding it upside down - duh). I rinsed it thoroughly with IPA and blew crap out of the recesses with an air duster and then rinsed it again. Should that be enough to keep resin from hardening in places I don't want it to?

How will I know when my FEP needs to be changed out? I've changed it twice already but both times were due to accidental damage not to general use. What are the signs that I should be looking for (since I've also gotten a few odd prints lately)

Thanks for the add :) I am going to be purchasing a ANYCUBIC Photon and am just wondering about where to put it. I've heard that it can put off a very strong smell. Originally I had planned to set it up in my office but am thinking the garage might be a better place due to odor. The problem is, it gets very cold in my garage (-30C/-22F outside during winter with a non heated garage) Would there be anyway to make that work?

Interesting observations when rebuilding the Photon with new rail, rail assembly and Z motor and rod.

The new rail is .5mm wider. Hmmm...

had to replace my fep sheet and now i seem to be having part of my prints sticking to the bottom of the vat. what would cause that? do i need to calibrate it after replacing the fep?
