Hey guys,

I did a comparision between IPA/TEK/RESINAWAY a while ago but the prints didn't turn out great.. so I had to print them again with fresh clean resin and the results are pretty nice ??

Just one stupid pausing line cause it was almost out of resin and I was just in time for a refill ?

From left to right Resinaway > TEK1969 > IPA

?

Anyone else having issues with Anycubic's slicer when doing manual supports? I'm trying to set-up supports that are longer than usual and spreading out the "bases" to reduce batwinging but whenever I go off the support tab the supports seem to "collapse" and the model drops low near the plate. It's getting really frustrating....

Hi, Y'all! I'm new to the Photon and also new to printing in resin. I've watched lots of videos and I printed the test file and a teapot. They came out great for my first try! Now I'd like to print this Border Collie from Thingiverse and I'm trying to REALLY learn how to set things up correctly. I understand about picking things up off of the build plate so that the bottoms cure the same amount as the rest of the model. I also understand we should hollow models and put holes in them. Is that necessary for very small models that are not directly on the build plate? I would like this doggo to be only 13 mm tall. I read to tilt a model 45 degrees. How do I determine on which axis? Also I've read a few times to use medium supports. Is that true for itty bitty minis, as well? Is it ever safe to use small supports?
Also, on small models, what is a good Support Density? I've read around 35%, but is that true for miniatures as well? I will mostly be printing around 1:48 scale. If you've read this far and can offer any guidance, Thank you!

Fun to do castable blend works wonders.

Now let’s test it’s castability! The last castable resin I tried left terrible porosity in the metal.

Nice Morgan Morey's Succubus. Done with Monocure Rapid White and 25% of Flex100. For the color, i added 3 drops of black and 7 drops of blue dye pigments, done at 50 microns.

Don't judge the subject, it's for a russian group build... ? Anycubic gray, z axis sprayed with WD40, settings: 0.04/9/6/60/6

Hi guys, thanks for the add. I've just got one of these for work and so far I've only managed to get one print off from three attempts. Can I check a couple of things with people?

1) I've read somewhere that you need to reset the z=0 point if you turn off the machine, is this correct? We don't leave it on when not is use.
2) I had the only successful print yesterday, but it suffered from layer peel. Can this be caused by a relatively large surface area of the object?
