I need help. Received my Photon a month back. Did the calibrations and z-axis died on the test print.
So far Anyphoton has sent me a replacement motherboard -didn’t fix the problem.
Next step, do I insist a refund and purchase another printer? (Incur shipping costs)
Wait for them to send a z-axis and see if it fixes the problem.
The poll below to gather feedback if anyone else has faced problems and managed to fix it.

Hey guys, I’m having some trouble with getting my prints to come out properly. I’m not entirely sure how this even happened but the first layer seems to be smooshed and the. separating from the rest of the print. The picture with the two pillars shows a side by comparison of the difference. The one on the right is how it is supposed to be, but it ended up extra flat somehow.

Can somebody list the step by step points in PREPARING a STL file for the PHOTON? I mean, 1- have your STL 2- Enter it in Meshmixer or other program? 3- create supports (AND SLICE IT?)? 4- What is the purpose of slicing the model? is it done prior printing? or the machine does that? 5- Save it as STL completed with supports (and sliced?) again on a USB stick 6- open this ready to print file on the little scree of the photon.....you know something like that. Thank you for your time

So last week I posted about some scratches in my screen but finally managed to find sometime to do the test print to see if and how they effected the print quality (after being asked to by Faye from anycubic ofical eBay retailer regarding whether a replacement was warranted) and so far I've seen more of an impact from the build plate surface (minor dents and the pattern from however the plate was finished) thoughts anyone?

when cleaning the vat to put in new resin is it best to remove FEP and clean both vat and FEP separately? or just fill vat w/ FEP with some ipa and clean that way?
