So I am looking into getting the resin game, and trying to decide between the photon, or spending a lot more for a more reputable (non Chinese made) printer (prusa sl1?). I have went through the cheap Chinese 3d printer process with the tevo tarantula and I'm still not where I'd like to be a year later. Is it worth it to save 1000 dollars to buy the photon instead of a reliably built machine that also has ease of use perks like the sl1 does? I am also considering the amount of expensive wasted resin I foresee using a cheaper machine.

Seriously thinking of getting this. Cost of resin and cleaning are the biggest cons right now so I’m also looking at the i3 mega as an alternative option. Please sway my decision

Does anybody have an idea what´s happening here? Printer is level, build plate is level, new fep (tight, but not too tight). Resin is Monocure rapid grey. 13 - 6.5 - 60 - 8. But it happens with other resins also. Have this printer for five month and was only able to get a couple of decent prints out of it, tons of fails. Very frustrating.
