A bit of a random question but I was talking to a buddy of mine about finding/building a Photon enclosure and he suggested maybe trying to find a cheap smoker as they tend to be pretty well sealed and with built in ventilation to boot, has anyone else thought of this? I'm not familiar with smokers myself so just figured I'd ask.

Seeing some surface cracks on the shiny, plate-facing parts of models as they sit in sunlight. This is from underexposure, correct?

New guy looking for advice about printing issue.

I exaggerated the photo to highlight the issue.

I am seeing build lines throughout the model when printing at 20micron res with 8 second layering.

I also hear popping on the FEP.

I plan on cleaning and leveling the machine as well as replace the FEP.

Well final got a print to work

.05, 14, 6.5, 115, 8
Only to find resin on the led screen and a pin hole in the FEP which was only replaced last weekend. I'm guessing the resin cooked onto the screen below this point must have increase in density as the print evolved else the void would be right through the print.

Is it normal for a print to leave in imprint on the FEP which then passes on to each print after?

Im done with FDM and like to buy the photon.
In the "ANYCUBIC official store" in aliexpress there are 2 printers that looks the same. (with 50$ difference.
After a long comparison: the cheaper printer weight is 6.6 and the technology is: dlp.
And in the more expensive printer the weight is 9 kg and the technology is: sla.
Those arw the two only differences by the two. The pictures abd everything else is the same

What am i missing? Is it a way to earn 50 extra or there is some kind of difference?

Hey there, I'm going to get my Photon in a few weeks, I already startet to learn to work with the Slicer... seems to be not so complicated, I'm using Meshmixer to generate Support cause the Stock Software seems to overload it with Supports... BUT there is a Question about something different: Anybody working with Monocure Resin? and if so evere mixed up your own Colours with this?
