Hi everyone!
I think is time to give my photon real work, after using the sample resin, but I´m hesitating about which resin to buy. I would like it to be grey (doesnt matter light or dark) so my main options right now are Anycubic or Monocure Rapid. Which one do you have better performance/results with? Could you show me some pics of your pieces in the comments?

Good thing about monocure is that I could buy the resin + resinaway + platebond in a single shipping. Do you think it is worth, or IPA would do the same job with a bit more effort?

Hey guys,

So we‘ve been printing for quite a while with our Photon and were very happy with it. But now I realized a problem: As you can see in the photo, after some layers there is something like a line that can be seen. It‘s no layer shifting I guess, because after this „line“ the model keeps printing on the same place as before.

Monocure Rapid Clear / 50 Micron / Normal exposure: 12 / Off-Time 1 / Bottom exposure: 60 / Bottom layers 5

Has anybody got an idea to solve the issue?

@Anycubic: Is there a way to insert a utility program in the photon?
I leave the resin in the vat for a longer time and to stir it inside the vat, I move the platform to the home position and 4 1cm-steps up several times(5-10x).
This works very well.
And now my question is if that can be done automatically with a program on Photon.
Then it would be possible to stir the resin in the vat with the photon.

I just got my photon and tried the sample print. The first image was with the fep sheet that came with the printer, but has some dust bits embedded in the sheet. I replaced it and got better results in the second picture but still got flakes.(for lack of better terms) What can I do to prevent these flakes, or are they normal? I tried a third time (last 3 images) and one got one major flake and that was about it. Please help D:

Help please.slicer keep saying less time then photon takes seems to be adding a 1/3 extra time. Should I update the firmware working otherwise .should I uses another slicer will that help . Wondering what's going on other printers have taken less time not another 1/3 .thanks

Howdy all. I've had my Photon for a couple of weeks, and 2 different times with 2 different files, about an hour and a half into the print, the build plate stopped moving up and down. The printer still thinks it's working, and continues to project each layer going forward.
When I cancel the print, it won't manually move up or down either. It works as normal when I restart the printer though.

Has anybody else dealt with this sort of issue?
