I currently own a prusa mk3 and am considering getting a photon. I hate layer lines on my detailed prints but don't mind for my functional stuff. Hopefully reading through this group I can decide if the photon is what I need.

This is a D7 print, I wanted to share this here because some people ask the difference between the Photon and the D7, It hasn't been easy getting the D7 to this point.. I am proud :)

The model is scaled to 50% the original - as this was another test of cure times. 0.050, @ 14 sec layer - wait 1 sec, 3hrs.

Two of the teeth K9's had supports in the mouth, Im talking 0.5mm supports - this would have been a great 0.035 print

Hello, someone to print on transparent Anycubic resin? What parameters do you recommend for that resin?

I've been trying to get Monocure3d Rapid black to work properly for some time now. I've tried every setting suggested and even a few others. I've tried the calibration print settings but nothing seems to work.

The prints stick to the bed fine and the top of the prints are fine but the undersides where the supports are are bad. Lumpy and blobby where resin has collected. Reading through posts others have had a similar problem but solved it with a combination of settings and support layouts.

My monocure seems very thick even after vigorous shaking, so could it be time expired?( it was bought 6 weeks ago but its manufacture date was sept 2017).

Any Ideas? I am running low on resin and am wary of using monocure again now but I want to use a flexible resin for some projects ( which sadly Anycubic dont do).
