Tried to cast the Wanhao black , no go, close though. I think a hotter burn would have made it.

SO ODD????

only the right side of the building platform printed on my photon (and that side printed fine), there was no cured resin in the tank or mess anywhere, so the left half just did not get cured...odd...anyone else have this issue?

I'm assuming the file got messed up somewhere between the saved file but I'm still new to this printer etc. so I'm gonna remake the file and try again, but The preview from the slicer showed it was fine though......

Several months later and I'm still having issues with my photon. The issue is that throughout the print patches of resin form on the fep film. These patches stick to the printed part, most of the time they ruin the print. It also means that I have to clean out the vat after every print. This issue occurs with several different resins, I have tried black, white, blue, red and green resins from anycubic as well as a bottle of wanhao white. The issue persists with every resin that I've tried, however both of the white resins are much worse. Instead of small patches of resin on the fep, the white resins form large patches of resin on the fep, sometimes covering the whole fep.

This issue becomes more noticeable with larger and longer prints. The printer is not the cause as this is now my 3rd photon. I don't believe that the issue is unwanted uv light getting in as most of my prints are done in a dark room overnight. I also have the yellow window version. I have also tried the printer at another address that is a 20 minute drive away, so the environment isn't the problem. My room stays around 25 degrees Celsius. I don't believe that it is caused by chemical contamtion either as I also had the same problem straight out of the box without cleaning the vat with IPA. Before each print I shake the bottle of resin and leave it in the vat for half an hour to let the bubbles out. I have tried several USB sticks and models sliced with different settings. The patch of resin always seems to start on the right side of the lcd and grows out from there, No matter where the model is placed.

Still kind of new to DLP printing...can I get your opinions on the following model I plan to print. Any tips on how I should print this...like with supports or without? at an angle? Thanks!
