Hi guys, thanks for the add!

I am new to sla/dlp (just experience in slm) and i have been looking for a resin printer since they have much a better print quality comparing to fdm. The printer is just to have some fun and try to make some lost wax casting since i have some experience in casting also.

The printers that i was looking are:

Anycubic photon – Pros – Large user base, Price, nice built quality, availability of spare parts, slicer and support software. Cons – from the reviews seems to be a gamble to get a good or bad one since the quality control of anycubic seems a little sparse, Z axis wobble.

Phrozen shuffle – Pros – seems that is a upgrade in build quality against the photon. Cons – Not so many people in comparison with the photon, is more expensive, doesn’t have a slicer or support generation software.

Creality LD-001 – can't find any reviews or any thing but seems like a copy of the photon .

I was quite decided about the photon but the shuffle really shuffled (pun intended) my decision ?

If you have any other please tell me your experience.

What kind of resins do people use?
I've seen nice engineering type resins from SparkMaker and from PhotoCentric. I want to make some structural parts that can take some load without deforming too much or breaking.

Since I can't have the Photon with the others printers in my office (closed room with A/C) I found this beautiful IKEA cabinet which lets me have it outside the room (notice the UV curing chamber I made below the Photon which fitted perfectly ? ? )

Low-Profile Budget Anycubic Filtration System is designed! I'm going to print and try V1 today through Tuesday. Damn me for buying a 92mm fan instead of 3 40mm fans, but it was a LOT cheaper.

Just ordered mine and already have people asking me to print them stuff.

Out of interest if I were to produce 28mm minis for people what's the rough price tag. I realise it's based on time, amount of resin etc.

I didn't buy it to produce items for others though, more for my self. But a few here and there to cover resins cost.

How often do y'all empty the vat? I'm using anycubic green resin with the blue paneled machine.
