Hi everyone! Thanks for the add. I just got my printer a few weeks ago, loved it so much I bought a second! I did have the issue with half the screen lighting. Made an interesting test cube since it worked right for the base then only printed half the cube. Got that fixed quickly with a firmware update. Only major problem I’ve had is running out of resin. Got a bad bottle of grey and have been idle for almost 2 weeks now. It takes amazon several weeks to ship to Alaska.

So while I’m waiting my thought I would share some of the prints I got and hopefully I’ll be back printing next week. Looking forward to trying out some hollowing to save some resin and more advanced techniques software wise.

It's time for me to buy a new resin. For simplicity's sake in terms of ordering, I'm looking at Anycubic Clear. How does that compare to Anycubic Green? I don't remember anything negative about it, so it's either a-ok or no one's used it?
Is there any noticeable difference between the Anycubic resins?

Hi folks! I just set up my printer and ran into a few issues, can anyone help?

-how much resin do I add for my first test print?

-I watched the YouTube tutorial, I have an issue where reading small text on paper hurts my eyes but the booklet wants me intstall software but the official YouTube tutorial says nothing about this.

-I leveled the plate, and I mean is 1-1 with screen and the paper didn’t tug in any direction, but the top of the build plate and the head/crane connected to the Z axis rod are NOT parallel like it says in the book. Is this a factory defect that I should ignore, or am I just bad? I leveled 3 times and it’s still like this.

Pic related because I’m frustrated and my camera doesn’t work on my phone to show you the 1/10th of an inch it seems off.

Hi all, I have just got new Anycubic Photon and I can't get a print out of it. I had a Wanhao D7 before so am used to resin printing. How bright should the UV light be when testing? To me it doesn't look anywhere near bright enough?

Ok. I have had my Photon since June 6. I have left my vat filled and just top it up from time to time as needed. I have only used the monocure rapid clear.

I have NEVER drained it.. My prints have been rock solid 100% reliable. No sanding of the build plate just stock.

I do re-level the plate from time to time as I sometimes remove the build plate to remove the printed item.

I have printed at least 50 times now. almost all the time in the same center position.

My prints are still awesome and no sign of degraded quality or resolution.

I keep my printer on the counter in the washroom in the basement so it never sees daylight and I turn the fan on to deal with any smells from the resin (monocure definatley smells a lot less than the one that came with my SparkMaker (dont get me started on that POS)

This is working great for me. Does anyone else do this too ? or am I in the Minority.

Hello! I’m my latest prints the print seems to get a little stuck to the FEP on every layer. As it raises from the tray it makes this little “flopp “ sound and makes a small jump in the movement. Anybody else experienced this or know god to avoid it?

My entry for the Monocure painting contest. While he may look "Kick Ass" the palette was based on Australia's colors. Was a lot of fun... good luck everyone!
