With some people worrying about the ambient light affecting the resin I decided to go old style budget home film development. I used a op shop bed sheet to wrap around the frame that the printer sits on. While it is not 100% light proof it is good enough

My Girlfriend has to take Medicine everyday but she forgets them often at home.
I’ve printed her an “pill-box” but know I’m worried if it could be toxic.(I know that it would be smarter to ask before starting printing ? )
What are you guys thinking?

I think my first layer failed. I set it to print and left and luckily it somehow stopped by itself at 64% (not sure how error detection works, but it managed to stop itself) when I came back. What should I do? Is this something I'm going to have to replace the fep?

Hey guys I have had my printer since Saturday and can’t seem to get a successful print. I have zeroed it and sanded the plate. The UV works fine to and I’ve have tried many settings for the test cube. Any ideas on what is going on? Thanks!

Hi I'm having an issue with zeroing the Z in my printer. I adjust the bed plate down until its basically touching the screen, tighten the set screw so its perfectly level with the screen then I adjust up by .1 increments until the paper is catching but not stuck. I then go up one menu and hit the Z=0 and select yes (since there isn't any no option) However when I start a print the print bed goes down, hits the build plate and stops but I see the set screw keep going until it starts making a slight grinding noise and the arm that holds the build plate hits the vat wall itself. I have been struggling with failing prints over and over and only getting maybe 1 out of 4 prints to succeed. What am I doing wrong to get that noise and flex?

Do any problems occur if I pause then play my print mid way just to check the status?

Hi, any of you ever tried to add a texture to a STL model ? I need to print a side panel for a BUD Industries Enclosure and I want to match the texture. It's exactly like the bottom of any print we make with the Photon.
