Tried running another print after the last one failed and had to re-level. Any ideas why the build plate wouldn’t be raising? Went through 9 layers and it never moved once.

Ok so apparently my last print stuck a little harder than I anticipated. My fault I should have tiled it and not printed it flat on the bed. Question is, should I change the FEP so my prints aren’t affected or will they be ok?

When you make a print that has to be done in multiple parts, what kind of glue are you guys using to bond the parts together with? Anyone have anything really cool or different?

I'm having a lot of prints sticking to the FEP and pulling off the build plate. Is this a sign of a scratched/needs to be replaced FEP? It's pretty new but is very cloudy after scrubbing with a paper towel and .91 IPA.

So i have my photon now. But it looks like i was sent the older one with the bad power supply, its the one with the green writing on it. Any suggestions on if i should send the whole thing back, i ordered it on Amazon or should i try and find a new power supply for it? Please advise. I havent powered it up yet.

Just got my printer yesterday and was able to set it up today.

My first print from the photon and I have to say I'm really impressed with the level of detail. Anycubic Green 5 layers at 50 and the remaining layers at 10.

Another blaster update-
I think I'll soon be known as the Blaster King... or Master Blaster :)
Anyway, here's an update on one of the blasters I am working on concurrently with other builds...

This is the Babylon 5 Security Officer's blaster/pistol. I like this one because it is smaller and seems like something concealable that a security officer might actually carry.

This is it after a print and prime, and press fit together. It needed some sanding on the barrel, and other round parts that fit into the receiver, but honestly not much sanding and tweaking.

I dunno... maybe I just got super lucky... maybe I have a super Photon lol... Maybe I have 'The Quark' ;) ... All I can say is I am on week 5 of owning one and I am around 70 prints now. The only failures were completely MY fault, not the printer.

This thing just keeps printing and printing and printing! I'm still on the original FEP too! I did notice a scratch in it today, but it is still very clear when I clean it. I am printing literally every day and as soon as I finish a print, I remove it, clean the plate, fill the vat and hit print again. I do drain the vat and clean the FEP every 5 or 6 prints, but other than that I just keep hitting print!

I am doing a 15 hour print now that is literally maxing out the Z height. This is the first I have done that high. I've done some tall ones before, but never maxed out.
