Hi guys! New to the group and the community and planing to print my first stuff today, all the tests that have been posted recently, specially by Vinicius Silva ! Thanks! Being extra careful though, and thinking about applying a protective screen for switch on the LCD. Anyone used this before? Does it change the exposure capability in any way? Thanks!

I’m starting to develop a love/hate relationship with this damn machine. I took it apart again, redid the Z Wobble fix, and as you can see, there is still plenty on warping.

Not to mention I can’t get a flat piece to print properly to save my life. I had lots of supports on it, printed it at an angle (sorry, forgot the Photon picture).... either way, you can see this pedestal is all warped to hell.... not a straight line anywhere in the print...

I really want to love this printer, but I have yet to print anything that can be called perfect. Everything has issues and needs tons of cleanup work...

Hi guys,
I was experimenting z-wobble issues and anycubic sent me a new Z-rod.
I replaced it, performed the anti zwobble procedure and it seems to be disappeared from the printed model...but once i sprayed on the colour...SURPRISE MUTHAFUKER!
I’ve written back to anycubic and now i’m waiting for a response. Have you any idea!?

Building a better BSG Blaster-
After printing the Blade Runner 2049 blaster and seeing how well it fits together as a modular print I decided I want to redesign the BSG blaster in a modular way as well. Now... what I 'want to do' and what I 'can do' right now are two different things! I'm working on my skills set and don't see why this can't be done, but even being a novice I can see this is going to take some work.

Where are the holes from printing coming recently? anyone an idea?

Hi there Photon People! I have just got my printer a couple of days ago. I have managed to print one small item on first try with no problem. I tried it again in a couple of days. I cleaned everything beforehand it was a fresh print. The printer stopped mid print, the build plate stayed in the vat. Ever since I have been trying to print something about 4-6 times I have tried now the exact same thing happens. At between 40-50% of a 20 minute print 50 to 70 layers only the printer just cuts off for about a second then turns back on again to the state when you first turn it on. I have tried different branded/quality USB sticks. I have formatted them. I have tried different models. Tried the same model sliced again. It's always the same. Seems to me it's a hardware issue. I have written to Anycubic and yet to receive a reply.
I have read here that I'm not the only one with this issue.
My question is whoever had similar problems how did you manage to sort it out? Is there any point waiting for Anycubic? The printer has only arrived 5 days ago.
One more thing. The power pack which previously had been suggested as possible source of this problem only gets warm not even hot. I have put it on something so air can circulate around it freely. The cable from the power pack to the printer seems rather thin.
Any advice is much appreciated!
