Finally I got around measuring the new samples sent by Sascha Beez . As it turns out, the small bump in UV transmittance for the orange plexiglass might be real. So to be extra sure to block all UV light, you might consider getting the red panels. I'm using the orange ones, though, and haven't had an issue with them keeping the resin fresh.

Hello everyone. I received a unit that would not power on at all. The power brick has a small blue light that comes on but the printer itself doesn't do anything. I flipped the on and off switch multiple times and even opened up the printer and checked the wiring and everything looks ok to me. Any ideas?

Sorry if this is constantly asked, but is there a list going around of the recommended items to purchase with the photon? Just purchased the printer and want to get all the essentials

So Formlabs recommends pouring off resin/filtering it, then wiping the vat out with soft paper towels. Then they say to set the vat in sun to let remaining resin cure and remove that hardened resin. Anyone try this on their Photon? Trying to avoid IPA clouding up my FEP which is also the reason Formlabs says to avoid IPA on their VAT directly. Just curious what cleaning regimes people are using to minimize damage to the FEP. Thanks!

im trying to find the spread sheet that gives the exposure time for resins but cant find it can someone point me in the right direction please

So I'm on the fence in which printer to get. Either the micromake l2 or the anycubic photon. The extra features and additional z height has me swinging to the l2 but I'm not familiar with the brand. Anycubic I've heard a lot of good things and trust the brand more.

If you were to buy again would you get another anycubic or get the micromake l2
