hi guys, i'm new to resin printing but have been using FDM for many years, so i'm learning the orientation & support structure for resin printing...
i always see members printing figurine at a an angle instead of up-straight, any reason why?
this is a model that i wish to print & i tilted it with a slight angle, is this correct? or i can print it straight with the base flat / parallel to the print bed

Sometimes the slicer won't let you add support when it cannot add a base to the build platform or it does and fuse it with the model, here's a nice workaround, it's in Japanese but there is an animation showing the process ;)

Hey guys ... why do supports on the photon slicer always get so jammed in the ground after you finish adding your supports ?? is there a setting to leave my model a bi higer ?
(pic 1 - in the supoport editor , pic 2 - after ading support) - it automaticlly scales my supports down ..... why is that ? :) thank you

I got my photon yesterday, I have 10 FDM printers so I know them off the back of my hand. However dlp and resin printers is all very new to me. I'm still trying to get the included lattice cube to print in the stock green resin. I have solved my problem with leveling. What could cause the problem seen in the photos?

So i'll buy a Photon soon, but i live in a small flat so i want to avoid toxic fume.
What is the cheapest solution to avoid that ? Grow room with coal filter ?
