well again I'm here bothering. There is no way to print the stl that i create in freecad. the only times that have gone well have been with stl of thingiverse and the cube inside of the usb. I'm thinking that the problem is in my stl. Just print the supports and nothing else. Any suggestion?

hi guys, just wanna double confirm, what is the actual printable build volume of the printer?
the photon slicer shows 120 x 68 x 150 height
but the official website says 115 x 65 x 155 height

so which is the correct figure? anyone can verify? thanks!

Hi All, I'm thinking of buying DLP Photon, but have few questions and I would appreciate any help :) 1. Calibration - how long it takes to calibrate Photon and do you have to do it before every single print?
2. How much resin do you have pour into tank and how much of is going to waste after eachl print and can you add new resin to old one?
3. How much post processing is required, cleaning, curing etc?
4. Are there recommended settings available like exposure time and is it varies depending on model?
5. How often FEP film need replacing?
6. Any major hardware/software issues?

Im quite expedient in FDM, but this would be my first DLP and I will mainly print things like figurines.

Hi all I just bought the anycubic photon from AliExpress. I m being told that the yellow color version of the photon is the upgraded version. Is this true? I would have preferred the blue color though.

Hey guys. I primarily use my photon to make miniatures for tabletop gaming which I then sell. However I'm struggling to keep up with orders so was looking into speeding things up a bit by making molds and casting them.

Has anyone got experience casting small models and can help with some information?

Don't listen to the nay-sayers. The Photon is a Winner.

I've had this printer since late April, ran it non stop since, day and night. Had the printer pay off itself in the first 25 days, had no issues whatsoever except for 2 failed prints. One when I had to hit the build plate hard to get a print off, it was stuck real good (anycubic green), lost level and had a failed print. Two when I switched over to FTD Snow white and had to learn the hard way about tuning resins. I've gone through ~6L of resin (Anycubic, FTD, Monocure & Wanhao) and changed the FEP once. I performed the Z-Axis Fix just before Print #10. Other than that this machine has been really good at delivering.

I've owned multiple FDM printers over the years, some very good at "just printing", but the Photon is the best printer I've ever owned, period.
