Has anyone found that the number of base layers affects adhesion to the bed? I would have thought only the first layer would affect this?

Hi guys, new in this group.
Is that raccomandabile to use a SLS resin like that from photocentric? The same brand sells also a DLP resin, whereas both react at a wavelength of 405nm.
Do you have suggestions / experience to share?

I'm obviously aware it needs supports too - will it work as a nice straight piece?

Thanks to Mark Wardle I now have all my BSG blaster parts printed! It will be 12 inches from the flash muzzle to the back of the blaster, and 8 inches tall.

I may try reprinting the main body pieces again that Mark helped teach me how to cut to size. I printed with the cut side towards the build plate and the supports rafted it up off the plate. It came out fine except the cut line is a little distorted due to the supports and raft. I an trying to sand it down, and I should be able to do it, but I am sure the Photon can print the cut line nice and clean if I orient with the cut away from the build plate so there are no supports on it. so lol... looks like another 20 hours of printing coming up!

After I get this sorted out I'm going to do a Babylon 5 blaster, then Deckers blaster from Blade Runner... then off to the Trek phasers!

Boy oh boy do I wish there was a print resume function after a power failure! My cat jumped off the back of my comfy chair (nice Lazyboy recliner in my office/shop) and he hit the power brick and unplugged the printer! It was 5 hours into a 15 hour print!

What do you think would be the best vent placement for an enclosure, in terms of cooling? My guess would be lower back or underneath but any thoughts are appreciated ?
