Can anyone recommend how long to keep a 3D print under a UV light. I'm using one of those $20 UV nail light boxes from Amazon. Previously I'd just put my print outside in the sun. Thanks for any advice.

MONOCURE 3D RAPID Grey. I had all but given up on this product after having most print attempts fail and it appears to separate in the resin tray no matter how much I shake it up prior to pouring. After a number of recommendations to sand my print bed, I did so with several helpful recommendations from folks on this site. I also replaced the FEP on the resin tray today from the original one that came installed (it was not in perfect condition when I got it.) The results so far are the 2 best prints that I have been able to get from the machine to date with no failures. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone and give this resin a try.

Another noob question, I hope y’all don’t mind. My wife doesn’t like where I set my printer up. She would prefer it where guests won’t see it as soon as they walk in...go figure. If I move it will I need to do the leveling process all over again? Cause I really don’t want to and I may have to just put my foot down and sleep on the couch for a few days lol.

Looks like the half screen issue affects pi printers too. In this case it was the ribbon cable

Temp gets real high during printing. This cant be good for the resin this is after 2hr printing with around 26c room temperature. I wonder at what temp the lcd cristals start deteriorating. The death of lcds may be because of print temperatures more than the uv that is more bluelight than anything

I pulled the trigger and got some of the Monocure Clear. Using the suggested setting for .04 layer height in the Google Doc, I have had one successful print. That's out of 4. I am currently working on a 5th and hoping for better outcomes.

Has anyone else used the Monocure Clear? What settings did you use?

Just sharing some troubleshooting with the group, I had my first 3 prints go perfect then the last 3 attempts gave me nothing. I think I left some ipa residual between prints on the top plate. It’s the only thing I could think about. Also found my prints stuck to the pfe sheet. I managed to clean it also. Re calibrated z axis and then everything was great. Thought I would share.
