Here is my initial test with Nova resin. I bought it after seeing a review on this group which mentioned its low price. The quality is great, it's just a shame they went and upped their pricing. (.04/9/1/75/5)

hi guys, i need some help. my prints keep getting stuck to the fep film.

i just got my photon and have successfully printed the included test cube. i downloaded the mac installer for the slicer and had my model prepped with supports and lifted off the build plate so the bottom layers have about the same surface area of the test print base. [screenshot]

i've already tried recalibrating the z height, cleaned the vat, etc.. still no luck. i'm currently reprinting the test cube to see if i can still replicate it but some help would be appreciated.

Any tips for removing the print from the metal plate once its done? Getting tougher everytime I print and have had to resort to carefully using a razor blade, don't want to scratch it though.

Hello fellow makers-
I have an idea that involves dlp printing with fiber reinforcement....
When its time to change my film i would like to test adding micro chopped carbon/glass fiber to the resin and create a 10-20% homogenized resin mix. I believe the combination of the fiber+firm curing resin can make some very strong impact resistant parts. Anyone else care to help test this method?

Basic Procedure:
1: Pour 200ml of Photocentric Clear (firm) resin
2: Add 20ML (dry volume) of micro-chopped carbon fiber
3: Stir thoroughly with mixer (homogenizer) inside cup
4: Draw out air with vacuum chamber
5: "Bombs Away" pour into vat as resin settled
6: Turn on Photon and SEND IT!!!
