Hi I just got my Anycubic Photon and when testing the LCD it only shows half of the rectangle, can anyone help fix this or is the screen broken.

Has any-one adjusted the settings for the supports - is it detrimental to the print if they are made easier to remove? Also what are peoples experience of light vs medium and heavy supports?

So what is the cut off point to decide on when to hollow a model vs. not hollowing...size wise...so to speak. ?

Hello everyone,
I can't get my printer to work. I have spent weeks starting prints every day trying to figure out the problem but anything I've been trying isn't helping. My problem is that everything I'm trying to print sticks to the VAT bottom at about half a centimeter - a centimeter height. I have re-levelled the build platform an hundred of times and still nothing. I changed the resin, sanded the build plate, trimmed the exposure time, etc... But nothing.
I bought the printer in February and I still haven't been capable to obtain a single successful print (making exception for a single test rook).
I am trying to print the medieval castle from Thingiverse and at the moment I just have a lot of bases but no castles. I feel it weird because it seems that the printer refuses to print it, in fact some other object get printed badly but at least they don't stick to the FEP.

Please help me solve out this problem because I am wasting a lot of time and money for a useless brick that I would really like to smash in a half atm.

So I finally plugged int he Photon for the first time, and following the Flint Read video I attempted to zero out & level my machine and already having issues....

First, his instructions show the build plate loose enough it can be moved, and you lower down to the FEP @ .1mm increments, until you can't twist or turn the build plate... correct? Well, mine won't go that low...i keep pressing the down arrow, and the sound the Z screw makes is different, as if it's reached it's maximum lowest point... like th motor makes a slight noise, but neither the build plate or the Z screw will move.

I decided it must be low enough, and took my hex key, tightened up the build plate, and pressed Z=0... then went to raise the platform and it won't move up at all now... not at .1mm, 1mm, or 10mm settings... won't budge.

I decided to loosen the build plate, worried I had just fried my Photon before even putting resin in it, and once loosened, the build plate went up.

I tried the whole leveling and zero out process again, and if my build plate is tightened to where it won't wobble, the Z screw won't move it up....

So now I have some nice circular scratches in my FEP from twisting the build plate trying to get it snug to where it won't move as per the video, and am back at square one...

I have a sinking feeling in my stomach....

Did someone test the new yellow windows of the photon that anycubic is providing with their new version?
I want to leave the resin inside between prints and I want to know if they're actually block UV now?

did anyone notice dust like this in his printing room? i dont know if this dust is really resin, but i cleaned this desk yesterday. 24h later i got this dust on my table - printed the last time 48h ago, it was a 7,5h print with original anycubic green resin...?!?!
