I know this isn't the Photon... does anyone know when the Anycubic Chiron will start selling? Second question...

For FDM printers... the one thing I don't like is the often very visible layer lines. Even with good printers that are dialed in they don't come anywhere near what a resin printer can do. So I had a thought/question... what if you used a brush to put a fine layer of resin on an FDM print and then UV cured it? Would that give it a smooth finish like our resin prints? Or would it mask the details.

Hey everyone,

So I've been printing with my photon for awhile now but today the machine just does not want to turn on. I noticed that the power brick's light flashes on and off and there is a ticking sound. Has anyone had this issue?

Hi All,
I've just used my Photon to print the test cube and it worked great. I have a couple of questions:
1. Does the build plate need to be re-leved after every print?
2. If not, does the vat need to be cleaned out between prints?

Do all of the anycubic resins print pretty much the same? Or can I expect better quality prints from certain colors of resin?

Pro tip: if importing free samples to portugal from russia avoid DHL, always make sure you have a invoice with a company vat with declared low value (below 20.eur total) and ask the supplier to add the invoice for the shipping too.

Getting really frustrated, Keep getting failed prints. I have used nearly 0.5l of resin two FEP sheets and a 1l of ISP and all I have to show for it is a single model that only slightly failed. I have tried both levelling methods and all the videos from Anycubic.

Its just failing so often and the cleanup takes so long I don't know what I am doing wrong.

The builds mostly stick to the FEP but when they do stick to the build plate they often hang half on half off.
