Printing some tiny Porgs for my little guy. 3d Okay resin does pretty well with things like this once it's tuned in. Far from great material, but for the price it's great for projects like this.

Two questions:
1. Anyone knows if the image that the slicer is sending to the machine is bw, greyscale, or rgb?
2. Does anyone know if the screen itself is capable of anything other than greyscale or is a repourpused rgb screen?

Hi everyone!! I've bought my second photon!...
Z movement is fine and very very silent, my first photon works well but It is noisy (something like TOC-TOC-TOC I think one TOC about every 360 degrees, but not sure) and it has some z-wobble... My stupid question is: are toc-toc related to z-wobble? Can I fix it with anycubic procedure??? ?

Is there any way to add supports and that the main base of the figure is fixed to the printing table? whenever we add supports, the base rises to add supports and we lose height of printing. Some help Please?

hello, my name is thierry...I have 52 years old. I m french so sorry for my english...I learnt in school ;) . You can see on pictures my work, sculpt ( traditional with clay) and paint. I do a lot of competition in categorie master. the churchill is only my paint, not sculpt. I want to know if for a first 3D experience, yhe anycubic photon is a good idea to test to this type of figure. I'm not interesting by large scale, only figure 54, 75 and 80 mm and bust at 1/9 scale. so the dimension of the photon is exactly what I need. I saw review on net and the result is very very good...but is only review...after in the reality???? do you thing it's possible to print model more a less with this quality???? I know that for me it's not possible to sculpt in 3D this models, but I think it's possible to print bust or anatomy and after doing only, belt, dress like I want. if is good I think I order this this evening...in yours opinions what is the better resin I can buy for this printer for this work...because when I finish, I did copy in resin...thanks a lot for your answers and your time to read all.... thierry

What is the temperature range for wanaho resin, I preheat it in warm water but i am thinking of heating the photon's enclosure, my workshop is at 20c and wanaho resin is so thick at this temp. I am looking at terrarium heaters, anyone has done this ?

Hi fellows, I am ready to order the Photon. But I have one question on my mind. Is this statement true?

DLP 3D printers are unable to print high-resolution parts that fill up a large portion of the build volume. For example, a DLP printer is able to print one detailed ring well, and more quickly than an SLA printer. However, printing many detailed rings at once would require an SLA 3D printer, capable of consistent high resolution across the whole build volume.
