Alternative vent plate for rear of machine that enables fitting of a 4" duct pipe.
Feel free to modify and share but use at your own risk as I am unaware of the long term effect of replacing the standard vent plate.

OK, my new Photon is unpacked and placed into its new home. I will do the hardware set up in the morning. For now, I'm playing with the slicing software. Interesting dilemna. When I open the Photon Cube sample .stl that came on the USB stick, I cannot see anything on the slicer grid.

As a control for testing, I created a simple hollow cube with .125" wall thickness and saved it as a .stl. This opened up on the grid as a very small blue dot. I selected it and zoomed it to 25.4mm thinking that would get me close to an actual inch.

Voila, it expanded to the proper size. Having been able to open my own file though, that makes me happy. Onward.

I'm still trying to open the Photon Cube sample file and have yet to succeed. Any ideas? I also downloaded it from the AnyCubic site to test with that. Still no go.

My prints have always been hit and miss, but lately even worse. I did a screen test, and it flickers (see video). The print goes all funky where it flickers more (on left side of screen in video). Do people think this is a power supply issue or something else?

*UPDATE* I contacted Anycubic support about my problem(s) last night and received a received a reply this morning. The support person said I was having a USB stick problem. So, today I went to Walgreens and bought a brand new USB stick and loaded the calibration file on it. It appeared at first to be working when I ran a dry run without the resin vat in place. After placing the resin vat and trying it, the build platform refused to move after the first layer. So, I thought maybe I should try the original Chinese prong power cord with a travel adapter. When I did that the same problem mainifested. Build platform fails to move after the first 1-2 layers, and then won't move at all with the on-screen buttons. The unit also seems to turn itself off/on at random intervals as well. I'm really frustrated here. I've been taking video to document this, as I've long learned that people don't believe me unless I document the hell out of my problems. So here's my last ditch attempt of the night:
