Ah this is why the Photon slicer estimate is always wrong. It does not factor in the Z movement time.

Once again, amazed by the detail in these prints. The photon was even able to print the very tiny sensors in front of the intakes. Sadly I made the inner wall to thin when I hollowed the model out, so the model is even more fragile than it actually looks (hence hole in the back)

Is there an option to keep the object on the platform when adding supports? I am printing a figurine with a flat base, so I don’t need supports under it.

Hey folks. I asked Anycubic about the color coding on file names on the Photon UI and got a response.

The red file name is the file you have selected currently, or was the last file you had selected.

As far as why some models are yellow or blue is dependent on what you had selected when you sliced the model.

Left is the pic I sent them in my query, right is their response.

For the people that added a air/fume extractor to the top of the Photon (as I did).

Did you turn the fan around so it's blowing into the printing 'area' instead of it sucking the air outside?

Just a reminder. This was first discovered by Philippe . If you are unable to level the build platform after many successful prints, take it apart and see if there's any cured resin between the gaps and clean it. I struggled whole morning with leveling until I remembered the advice. The platform felt a little less loose, sort of sticky, so removed the screws and there was indeed a cured layer, which I removed and had no trouble afterwards ? it's printing again!

It's a sad day.. my Photon is going back today. After about a month with it, the smell/fumes are too much for my house. I have a filter and fan set up but still was causing headaches during post production work, etc. So I guess this is it for me.

I do have a few bottles of 500mL Monocure Rapid resins, 3 unopened (clear, black, white) and 2 partially used (blue and gray) if anyone is interested in buying them from me.

Back to the FDM life for me, thanks everyone who helped me along the way.
