Largest resin DLP 3D print to date. 1:1 prop replica of Star Trek: Discovery Phaser. 4 parts. 8-10 hours per part. (Three prints as tail and nozzle fit on one plate). White WanHao resin in Anycubic Photon Printer. I find superglue sticks to resin faster and stronger than it does to PLA prints. So much more detail than my PLA prints.

The part printed well, mainly 2 issues. 1) The top edge has waves, not sure why that is, it can’t be z wobble as this is facing up. 2) There are bubbles in the part, don’t know how that happened.

Any thoughts?

I've been printing for a few weeks and I've never had a failed print. However, just yesterday, I had a memory card error, which was remedied by formatting the USB as per Flint Read 's previous post's instructions. After that, I had a successful print. But after the successful print, I made another, and came back to a failed print. The print is stuck both on the plate and the fep film. The LCD seems to be working (I don't remember what it's supposed to look like, but it lights up I guess). Any thoughts on what's happening? I'm using monocure rapid clear at 0.05mm layer thickness, 12s normal exposure, 1s off time, 60s exposure, and 5 bottom layers.

Getting better protection from fumes Part2:

As we know the case of the photon, especially the door is a bit wonky (mine is) and the frontside is not airtight. So that can let some of the fumes to leak out even of you have an effective filteration in place.

I bought some P shaped fitting and cut it to approppriate sizes and placed in to the photons both sides (top part) and also to the doors bottom part.

The door closes much tighter now. I will test if it helps!

What just happened?

I printed at an angle because it seems everyone prints at an angle. Look how warped the print came out.
