Hey all, just got my Photon yesterday. The test print completed but with a dodgy bit where a few joints didn't quite make it and the word inside went a bit crazy. I did get a bit over eager and try and open the door half way through to take a peak but rather than open it leaned the printer over slightly so I panicked and left it haha Would this have caused it to go a bit dodgy?

Also what's the strength like on resin prints compared to FDM? I have 7 FDM printers but this is my 1st venture into resin.

Still can't make it . I use medium support with cube bottom 1mm. One support not stick to built plate another one not come out at all. 0.05 layer, 11 sec exposure, 75 sec bottom exposure, 2 sec up time, 10 bottom layer

Being a Reenactor allows you to access real and authentic WW2 equipment...just finished the 3D model now i’m going to test print it with a total height of 2cm! I’ll keep you posted.

My first print :) .. I was actually super surprised it was successful, I was building myself up that I would have to do alot of tinkering to get it to print... this is the base settings that the printer was set at when I unboxed it with the resin it came with... gonna purchase some other resins soon... excited for the possibilities :)

I have some clear resin but need some blue resin. Has anyone added colour dye to resin before to change the colour?
