So if Meshmixer Generate Supports only basically adds supports under the model to lift it off the build plate...does that mean I can print the model with no supports? It seems like adding supports would hinder it instead of having the base on the plate.

Suction! This is a thing? POP! Learning new stuff all the time ? So is this why model orientation and strong supports are so important? Is there a video or post that covers this or is it all trial and error?

M8015 I3 ;The first zeroing speed when Z is zeroed is faster, and the Z movement speed of the manual interface is also the same as this speed. The Z axis lifting is also used this speed.
M8016 I3 ;The second zeroing speed when Z is zeroed is slower. Decreasing the second zeroing speed can increase the repeat positioning accuracy of the limit. If this parameter is 0, the second zeroing is not performed.

Wanhao red. Stuff stinks bad. But looks nice.

Which resin do you think gives the highest detail? Wanhao cures through layers into voids and hardens there. It's there anything better?

bah i was going to do a print of claptrap that i did on the moai as a comparison. but i forgot i need to change the fep sheet. and have a shed load other stuff to do. so having to shelve that for tonight. bangs head on table a fare few times. lol

Okay, first real printer problem.. Went to level the build plate, everything seemed to go fine, and now it won't move up. It's at home, and won't budge.

Printer's clean, never had a leak, no probs otherwise.

Ideas?
