All, please be aware there is a new firmware in the files section. V4.1.0 for the photon. this is mainly to address the half screen and intermittent LCD screen issues that have been seen. It has been applied to my Photon and Mikko T. Pyykönen Photon. LCD's are back in the game, let the testing (ahem printing) commence.

Pop the file onto your usb stick and plug into the photon. Turn on the photon and it will beep 3 times twice while flashing and boot up normally. Power off the photon and delete the file from the usb. Your good to go after that.

Hi guys. Thanks for the add. Just received my Photon. Wish I'd found this group first. I also purchased some B9R-4-Yellow resin. Has anyone else tries this and if so any tips tricks?

I have been repairing and diagnosing 3D models for 20 years now and have also been doing this for group members.

I can diagnose a file error pretty fast and give an estimate of the time it will take to fix it and make it printable. (no charge for file diagnostics)

My charge for doing this is £5 for the first half hour and £10 pounds per hour after that.

Try fixing in meshmixer or 3D builder first though this will fix most problems but if they won't do it you can always hire me.

I can deal with OBJ STL but not Maya or 3Ds max so convert those before you send them to me.

I can also rebuild from scratch as this can often be faster.

I can also slit a model into separate parts for easier off the plate printing.

If you have a model that will not print and you don't know why I can check it here for free but will have to charge for time if you want it fixed.
