Hey everyone I replaced the fep and ever since then it won’t print correctly the brim prints but the print won’t slicer looked fine to me and before this part printed just fine same g code left one way in the resin vat the right one on the build plate

Major disappointment in WanHao resin. I ran out of green after getting all the major pieces of this chess set done (and many other prints), so to do the pawns I opened up another WanHao green. Same brand. Same company I ordered from before. And the greens are a different shade. I am glad it’s only pawns that will be darker so I don’t really have to reprint any, but disappointing.

My last few prints failed, specifically the object would come off the support and drop into the vat, with the base intact on the build plate. Same problem persisted even after I beefed up the supports. So I decided to take a look while it's printing and noticed that as the build plate lowers into the vat, the object would come in contact with FEP film so much that the object flexed! I am thinking this is a leveling problem. I followed Flint Read 's method but I have a screen protector over the LCD. Not sure if that's what is messing up my leveling. ?

Been looking for a high quality resin that has even more plastic like qualities than FTD industrial blends. Been working with a manufacturer to mass produce some prints and the samples I got were amazingly detailed and flexible. I want to find something similar so I can fine tune my models at home before I send them for expensive manufacturing.

I think he uses resin from Solus DLP, their prototype resin. It's $250 a 1L bottle, but it may be worth it to speed production.

I have to learn where to place support.
Very different to fdm-slicing.
