What r the parameters for the anycubic whitr resin? I used same setting as the green resin the photon came with and thr print failed. Have stuck to the plate and other half fell In the vat

LCD question:

I needed to replace my LCD AND the front protective glass as the FEP leaked some resin between the screen and vat and cured in place. I ripped the LCD out when taking the vat out and it also ruined the front protective glass. Wanhao UK had a LCD WITH the protective glass already installed so I ordered it.

I assume the silver on the back is a backlight that needs to be removed?

how much resin does the vat hold when you fill it up to the line? im curious for a big print i want to try.

Finally a huge succes using Black Wanhao resin! 18 sec exposure and 20 hours of patience have been rewarded ?

First two tries failed, but the third one did NOT burn down, fall over, or sink into the swamp :) That was the calibration matrix from here. My fourth print, the Monocure Rook, came out great as well.

I'm sure my leveling was bad on the first two. For the third try I'd followed Flint Read 's instructions from his YouTube video and was elated to see something actually sticking to the print bed that time (I'd actually used his method for my second try, but after watching the video it was obvious I hadn't lowered the platform enough; either that or the magic of a British accent did the trick ? ).

Now it's time to print "real" stuff rather than test prints! Though it's crazy how detailed the rook is (like the very tiny but crisp and legible text around the inside of the top of the rook).

Thanks to this group for all the info and tips, and especially Flint for his leveling instructions!

As I wait for my machine to arrive, it occurred to me: one of my first prints on my FDM machine was the print in place platform jack. Anyone try this with the Photon?
