Okay, so 3rd resin in.. Enjoyed the Anycubic frost green a lot, all problems were pure learning error with it.

Tried the Wanhao clear after that, and didn't have a good time. Warped and failed every prints, even with 15s+ layer times. Lots of failed adhesion. Realllly didn't like not knowing if everything was truly 'clean' after runs (because the resin is clear).

Now on the FunToDo Snow White. Color is great, prints seem good, but lacking some definition compared to the Anycubic. Resin has no smell, and is really easy to pour and filter and great to clean up. Not happy with how flexible the final product is though, gonna try a full cure in the sun and see if that hardens it up. Reminds me a lot of the early Reaper 'bones' minis.

Is there a defacto 'best' for printing small 28mm scale minis, that's rigid and has fine detail and is thin with lower off-gasing?

so maybe it is time to change the fep? Although I printed a single test print in the middle using Photon resin when I changed the settings to recommended for the Senerik castable resin I am getting some build now but half stuck to vat and other half stuck to build table. Notice the center did not adhere to the table but the outer ones did mostly

can we use denatured alcohol or acetone to rinse off uncured resin on our prints? thanks!

I realised that you can't really see how a print is doing till it far enough through so that the bed lift high enough for you to see how its going - a couple of hours in?
Not till then that you can see if it has started properly.
or am I missing some trick?

Topographic map of Ireland printed on the photon and coated with gold toner foil.
This was done on a whim, I probably could have made a better job if i had actually planned to do it ?

Sprayed with clear coat
Cover with foil
Hit with heat gun quickly
Used cloth to push down and apply foil
