Do you guys push down the platform real hard to avoid it rotating when you set the z=0? I find my prints fail more on the right side? Could it be related to the build plate rotating clockwise (slightly) while I tighten the build plate?

Hey everyone! I'm looking into getting my first 3D printer and comparing all the makes and models out there. I do my own sculpting in Zbrush and want to produce characters and creatures that I'll then mold/cast. But I'm also interested in doing game pieces that have jewel-like bases and I've noticed that a lot of the prints I've seen are translucent colors, which would be perfect, but I don't know how much control you have over colors. I assume it's all a matter of what resin you get, and I'm also assuming you can't mix your own colors or tint them. Is that correct? I'm hoping I can do clear, green, blue and red see-through prints.

So I found a 45L garbage pail at The Container Store that fits over the Anycubic Photon quite nicely. I modified it to have a 4” duct fitting and cut the rim down so it is the perfect height. I then finished the edge with rubber car door edge molding I bought at an automotive store. This hood along with the ducting and 4” fan I mounted in some wood works very well to exhaust the fumes out my window! ?

Hello fine people. Haven't taken ownership of my printer yet, and I'm already thinking about mods for it. Has anybody tried a higher resolution lcd panel? Or a different, tighter leadscrew for the Z-axis? Or even a stepper motor with finer steps?
