Hi, this is my first print. The quality of the printer is awesome, better than I expected!! I have had two problems and I don't know what happened, (both marked in red) first one was a line in the middle of the model looks like the middle of the print is moved. And the other was that the printed, finished at 85% of the work, at this point it said finished but was not finished. the vet still had resin and the model was 12 cm high. Anybody has the same problem? thanks!!

Ok im done with 3D Okay's grey resin, half a bottle used and not a single successful print, used the settings in the chart and from peoples recommendations. Either its a bad batch or somethings not right. Used what i had left of the green goo and got an almost flawless print straight away. Now gonna try Monocure or Wanhao

Hello friends! I just sold my old SLA printer as it was nothing but trouble. Looking real hard to have a look at some sweet DLP tech. I am leaning heavily towards the Photon over the D7. Just seems more solid and working you know. Every 3 days there seems to be an update to the D7 (up to v1.5?) which I guess is both good that its being supported, but bad that its not right out of the gate. Anyway I will probably be using Monocure 3d Rapid, does that play nice in the Photon?

So after fixing my print issues yesterdays I wasted no time printing some of the designs I'm putting into production. This was printed at .05 later height and took about 5 hours. Quality is far superior than my Raise3d N2 plus.

Just discovered a trick to getting a print off the FEP when it happens and lately it has happened more than I like.
So I have been using the Styrofoam square that came with the packing of the printer it is the small one that I think was on the top. And I set the vat on the Styrofoam and press down on the vat. then use a plastic Razor blade to push the stuck print off.
But Wait!!!
Today I was cleaning the vat and got a dab of resin on the underside so I used a micro fiber cloth and alcohol to clean it off. It was right under the stuck resin and press up and the resin popped up on one side. Ding Ding so I used the clothe to press under all of it and the stuck print peeled itself off the FEP as I went under it. Cool Beans

By the way Can someone post the basic basic parameters? The book says layer thickness mm .05 norm. expos.8 off time 3 bottom expos. 60 and bottom layers5
I have mine set to this config.

So my printer stopped mid print....had a blue slicer screen. Didnt get a pic. Anyone have this issue before?

Ok, maybe not the most sexy print to post, but my test print came out well. :) So now on to bigger and better things. Woot.
