Man the stank from this resin, is brutal. Causing me to have head aches, and strange tastes in my mouth. I'm using gloves and the printer is in a room that's closed off and not visited unless i'm starting up a print, so I'm not overly exposed to it. Anyone else have similar issues, or am I just a puss?

My Photon arrives tomorrow. Woo hoo!
It was a tough choice between the Wanhao D7, the Peopoly Moai, and the Photon. Ultimately, as my first 3d printer, a friend had a good perspective...you're first 3d printer is like taking an expensive class. Better to learn what you can with a less expensive printer, then once you get the hang of it (and decide you want to do more), go buy the Lexus er Moai/Form2, etc. ;) Not to say the Photon is not a good printer, it's just about 1/3rd the cost of the Maoi.
I am super excited for my Photon.

This is random, but does anyone know the name of this file? This photo is what made me decide I wanted a resin based printer and I'd love to have this print but don't know what called.

Non photon post... just saw this email... looks like wanhao lol. I wouldn't mind trying it out and it seems like they may carry resin. Would be cool since they're in socal. Only printer I own from them is the mini delta.

I wish the screen had a higher contrast on the numbers and letters. Light blue on white is very hard to read. The size is fine but if it was darker blue or black, I wouldn’t need reading glasses to see it.

I decided to give F2D IB another try with a full plate, 12hours print. So far so good, wish me luck.
Perhaps my first prints were my mistake and did not put enough supports to support the first major layer (the base in the right).

Funtodo industrial strenght black, 11 seconds normal exposure, 0.05 layer height, 70sec base exposure x 5 base layers.
