So hard to capture the clear resin detains.
Overwatch’s Winston test piece. Looks like my 3D-okay White settings work for Monocure rapid clear too. Gonna go bigger and more detail today.

Another 16h print, not 100% success, small part failed on top, some supports failed at the base. I'm gonna try to make it look as being part of the model ;)
I have the feeling my platform is not flat anymore, will have to investigate ....

Guys what do you use in windows Explorer to pre view you stl as icon. The icon is a preview of the model. I use Malin stl viewer but everytime I close windows Explorer it take ages to reload the preview mode again when I open Explorer. I many stl files and want to preview the file before opening it.

Does anyone have a good source for a replacement projector screen for the photon yet? Mine came a bit defective, and they said they'd send me a replacement, but that was 3 weeks ago and they're still silent, still havent shipped one. So, i was thinking i'd just go ahead and buy one and have theirs as a spare if it ever gets here. If the screens are standard and available from somewhere, anyway...

Getting ready to do a somewhat large print with a flat base. I originally had this at a 0 degree angle and when I ran it through the preview noticed that there is no way the 2 mm base of the statue is going to stay attached to those supports. So I readjusted to a 15 degree angle and my panic subsided. I decided to take a quick vid clip to show now at this angle how there is only ever only a small surface attached to the fep compared to the surface on the print bed. This I believe is why I rarely have my models pull off the supports. Also notice the vent holes and I hollow to 2mm then scaled down. These walls should be about 1.3 mm in thickness. Going to print this in monocytes rapid clear.

Next model: a key ring for a friend. However I am not satisfied with the wheels. But i think their appearance is my fault as I ran against the table while printing :-D
Next week I will ask our lab if they could PVD-coat such prints, provided that their is a coating which doesn't require high temperatures...

Spare parts to keep around?

I got my photon yesterday and did the first test print last night and it came out beautifully! I like to keep commonly broken or replaced spare parts for printers on hand as I dont like waiting for parts when a printer is down. What would you recommend I keep around on this printer?
