So this was my 1st print, came out great. My friend created this for me to print. a few spot i should have added more supports manually in the front, the back supports worked great.

This black resin is 3d-okay using this settings, .04, 12.5, 1, 80, 8.

So before calibrating my Z=0 for the 1st time, installed a .33mm thick tempered glass for a nintendo switch over the 2k led screen.

So setting up my photon last night i noticed a big glob of grease at the bottom, in which I throughly spread this around the entire rod shaft.

First i wanted to thank Flint Read for these tips.

1. once you have it unboxed Check all the little nuts around the USB ports are good and tight (I actually had one loose and this was a problem) You can solve this by gently putting a usb stick in the hole and using it to hold the port in place while you tighten the nut that is loose.
While you're at it turn the resin vat over see those screws in there? make sure they are nice and tight too if they are loose then your first print could ruin your FEP film by stretching it out of shape. A few screws could be tighten just a little bit.

My resin vat screws all needed to be tightened a good amount. This could have been a huge issue.

2. check all nuts on the machine bed (the big flat red bit), Are all nice and tight too.

Going to need to sort out an extractor as cant work in same room as Printer any one got any good recommendations for an extractor

My Isopropyl did not arrive today, so my printer is ready to print something but i don`t have the liquid for clean up. So i have to hold off....bugger..!!!

Finally got some usable prints. I'm wondering if the dregs of the FTD industrial black was just not working as well. It was the last 1/8th of the bottle and had been mixed with lots of resin that went through a couple dozen prints.

These were in monocure rapid black. The details are not as crisp, so I may want to drop the exposure time. Might also be that it's currently a little cold here.

Anyway, thank you everyone for your suggestions, I learned a ton.
