Do yourself a favor: When working on/in your Photon, be sure the door is opened all the way. Don’t just partially open and allow friction in the hinge to hold it. I did this and it swung closed while I was installing the print platform. The door hit my hand......which dropped the platform into the resin vat. Luckily, the screen wasn’t damaged, but it did rip the FEP sheet. I hope this post saves some of you the trouble.

Rule one for an new Photon owner copy the files from the USB to your main computer

Rule two Format the USB fat32 and default data allocation size. this will help for a while

Rule three Get a new high quality 16gig USB as soon as possible, This will save you MANY MANY problems as the one that comes with he printer is not great and gets corrupted fast.

Rule 4 There is NO rule four go print something for heck's sake!!!

my IPA bath is getting really full of resin, how do people dispose of it? i know i cant pour it down the drain.. but i dont know... i've thought about just putting it outside in the sun and having it all evaporate and the left over resin could be thrown out but im open for ideas!

Hello everyone. Does anyone know how much electricity the Photon uses per hour in operation? Trying to figure out how much I should charge for service of my print to print objects for people. Any advice or help would be amazing!

Has anyone come up with a pricing model for printing something yet? In the fdm world, it's typically 2-3$/hour and then filament costs.

Also, is there anyway to know how much resin a model is expected to use (to help with cost calculation)?
