i was wondering should it matter when ordering my photon, if it has the older z screw design, vs the new z screw design? older design is the pic on the left.

Photonsters far and wide Don't leave yourself in the dark!

Not sure how much light you can get away with around your Photon?
Well it's pretty easy to find out.

Place a saucer or similar on your printer and drop a bit of resin onto it and see if it cures or not if it does then that's how long you have and if it does not then the light levels in your room and the light sources you are using are ok.

It's fine to generally have all the lights in the room on if there is no direct sunlight falling on the printer. but the saucer test will tell you for sure.

Happy printing and now you don't have to stumble round in the dark like the King/Queen of the mole people unless you want to for role play purposes, Of course and after all who am I to judge?

Third print on my new Photon. (I am a novice to 3D printing) The first two were total busts using Wanhoo Grey. I think my exposure time was too short. I'm pretty happy with this using the Anycube Green.
Got a little shift (arrow) but only minor

This is a frame for an odd cut Quartz for a pendant.

Meet Marta:

I am trying to print her for a friend and she is driving me nutty. I don't normally add bases to my minis until after painting so I typically just slice off the base-- this one has texture so it is making it difficult.

So my question is: How would you print her?

Hi everyone!

New to this group and have a question: If I were to leave my Photon printing overnight, will the print still be OK in the morning? It doesn't hurt the resin either?

Grateful for any response, am considering buying the printer, but will not always have the time for instant post-processing. I guess I want to know if I can do it later :)

Does anyone know where i can get a replacement. When i want it to go up it makes a grinding noise, but wont move. I just got this printer yesterday. My other one i got 2 weeks ago still works fine.
