About health issues and resin printing:

Now that I'm about to buy Photon, I have a few concerns regarding resin printing. I have worked with resins and know the basics (being toxic etc.) but don't know what kind of problems they could cause in printing environment.

The space where the printer would come, is my "work" room. It's located in the immediate vicinity of the living room. My concern is mostly, that will the printer emit toxic fumes to the air during the printing, will the toxics build up in time in a small flat (~70m2). Will the apartment have a constant smell of resin.

My only ventilation is the central ventilation in the building (not adjustable by me) and a window in the work space.

I have a 6yr old kid living with me, so I want to be sure not to get him sick because of my hobby.

Good news bad news tonight.
Bad news first; I had a print that had failed to secure to the build plate. This was odd as my z setting had been solid for several good prints. Took the vat out to clean, and discovered there was no chip in the bottom...no cured resin ? I ran the UV test, and half the LCD failed to activate ? ? I decided to reboot the printer and run the test again. All good this time. Reset Z and print seems to be running fine this time so far. Hopefully I'm not about to lose my LCD.

The good news, i got lucky again and caught a restock of Monocure Rapid clear on amazon so i snagged 2L while i could since this stuff seems to be getting hard to get ahold of.
