OK Photonsters time for a pro tip.

You just started a print and you suddenly realise the exposure time or the off time or base layer or even the number of base layers is not quite how you want it.

Well no need to even stop the print, You can actually change these settings while the printer continues to print you dont even need to pause it!

Just hit the little cog button and select the setting you want to change from that menu, DO NOT PANIC nothing will go wrong and the printer will just use the new settings from the very next layer onwards.

That's it for this mornings tips for successful Photonsters for fun and profit, see you later sticky dudes and dudettes...........

This sucks... I have no resin left now and not sure when I will receive my order...

Was supposed to be 3 sci-fi buildings, but 1 didn't stick to the plate at all and the other 2 are lopsided...

I'm trying to download the anycubic slicer software 64 bit windows version. The rar file doesn't open for me. Anyone else have this problem? Winrar isn't working. Anyone know of an archive reader that can open it? Or a download link to the software that works?

Ok questions now that I've finished my first print I have some shiny spots in my print and I don't know why. 90% of it is dull but there are some shinny spots maybe my cure lights not suitable for it not sure any input also enjoy my first print ?

I have some questions about UV curing. I bought a strip of 5050 395-405nm LEDs. Most of what I'll be printing are small miniatures for tabletop gaming. So it can be a relatively small box. 25-28mm scale miniatures, so I assumed they would be too fragile to hollow; printed filled.
1. How do you determine undercured, perfectly fully cured, vs. over-cured?
2. How do you determine how long to cure? I don't see recommended cure times from all resin manufacturers, so how can you tell when something is fully cured and not overcured? While I understand cure times will vary whether it's filled or hollow, I'd like a better understanding of it.
3. Number of LEDs/intensity vs duration? What's the correlation between UV intensity and cure-time? Would it be better to have a dimmer on the LED strip to have more LEDs at lower intensity and longer cure time?

Anyone know how to calculate the cost of a print? I'm trying to gauge the cost of some of my prints to estimate a budget for making stuff...
