i just printed a test print of 2 tiger tank engines i will need to find out the size of the largest part i need to print so i can the scale everything up. resin printed with the Anycubic photon. scale is 15 mm long by 10 mm wide by 10 mm tall using a british 1p coin as scale. :)

So I have been thinking (I don't have my Photon yet but there are plans), would UV LEDs work to cure resin post-print?
I use UV LED strips in my gaming rig and they seem to act like normal UV so I was curious as to whether I could simply build myself a curing box.

Second question:
Could I cut my own FEP sheets using a larger sheet?

I'm having issues with my particular Photon.
1. When I set it to home and calibrate it, and then tell it to set the new z height as the new level, it doesn't remember it and defaults back into its original z height. ((I've only discovered this after noticing that the paper gets firmly pressed even though I've calibrated it, then 'calibrated' it to 10mm to find that it doesnt remember home))

2. When I print, the first layer or two sticks to the build plate before everything else sticks to the tank, and no matter what range of settings, from the default ones, to custom settings I find other people are using, the exact same thing happens every time. Small profile of cured resin stuck to the build plate, and a second profile of cured resin stuck to the bottom of the resin tank.

Is this overboard with the supports? Will it print good and be easy to clean up?

While I wait for my photon, I want to get some resin ordered. I plan on mostly printing gaming miniatures for the first umm like 1000 hours of printer time.

What resin do you all suggest?

First print ever with a dlp.. Still a lot to improve but i'm satisfied it didn't failed :D
