In this comment about the Photon as a product of the "low-end market" along with the D7 and the Micromake, it will be referred only by the price, or what is the main difference between the Photon with other printers such as Titan 2 or a Form2?

How do you clean the fep film? Isopropanol? Other alcohol? I read about cloudy coating on the fep film after cleaning. In one wanhao forum they have problems with it. I can't test myself because my printer is already on the way. Thanks.

Hi people!
I'm considering buying this machine but I've read around the net that this printer, and likely the wanhao d7, has a problem when printing objects the full height of the printing volume, something about the prints falling from the build plate. Is thare any truth in those statements? Thanks to all.

Soon I will buy the Photon and I am looking at all the alternatives if I buy from gearbest, 3dprintersbay, or from the Chinese stores including the Official Store. Hey Everyone, looking to get some clarity here. I've been eyeing down the D7 and Photon pretty intensely the last few days. A lot of their stats line up pretty evenly. I'm looking mainly to get a DLP for gaming miniatures, and character prototyping. Why would you get one above the other? The D7 has been around awhile and seems to be a little hard to use for novices, after watching the 2 vids (3dNoob, and Naomi) it seems the Photon is easy to setup and use. Other than that I can't see any major differences, can anyone shed some light on it for me, and help me push my decision one way or the other?

I was thinking. The photon uses the same system as the d7. That is a led with a mirror plate that reflects. The led of the d7 is 30w and seems undersized. The photon has it from 25. Is not that then has a very long layer curing?
