Only now do I understand what D&D/RPG fans love about resin printing. I hope more companies go to the print at home model (in addition to factory made).

First time printing a 150% mini, RG Sculpts Lion King from a few months back. 10s with Elegoo Grey on the Photon using Prusa for supports and Chitubox for slicing https://www.patreon.com/rgsculpt

If anyone is looking for some neat Revolutionary War minis this Kickstarter ends in 19 days. I test printed the demo mini (along with the Santa Dwarf shared her last month) at 10s using Elegoo Grey and was really happy with the results. I kind of like these DIY games vs the buy and wait 1-2 years of a factory to produce the parts.

Any ideas? I have printed quite a bit and randomly last week anything in the right side has this mess all over it looks like frame shearing but only in area. I have replaced the FEP and cleaned the glass, checked the UV detection. No matter what I print comes through messed up on the right side

It has printed well over 2l of resin prints without error

Anyone had this happen? I have been printing for at least 2
months and left prints on the bed before. Today I go to remove the plate and the red knob unscrewed right off but the plate is stuck

I have tried spraying with alcohol in case there was resin that was not hardened, using a wrench and screwing back on the red wheel and tightening the screw in it. Nothing will get it loose. Guess I gotta do a ticket

The thing I love about the photon is when you get things working you can just get into a groove. Really loving this elegoo clear red more than I thought I would! 0.05 and 12s

Ok so I changed from Anycubic eco blue to elegoo gray. No failed prints with blue but with Elegoo nothing only the right side is sticking.

I have tightened the FEP some, cleaned the vat and plate and still only the one side sticks.

I am going to try and level again and see.

The temp has dropped outside by 20 degrees but stays consistent in the house. So I may need to bring a heater in, just strange the print on the right side of the plate prints perfect with no issues in grey

I bought this printer to move my prototyping in house, so far I am extremely satisfied with the results. Details match the traditional resin casting I was having done. These are test prints of some of the more difficult models I had had prototyped in the last via shapeways and privately

So I tried printing the exposure test with the new eco plant based Blue resin. I got a blue slab with barely a circle visible? I dont think leveling is an issue as it stuck to the build plate and there is nothing left in the vat

Any ideas? I used the 50 one but I see there is a 100
one so maybe try that?
