Hi, I have a question regarding hollowing out a model and the need for internal supports. Using Chitubox I have hollowed the model put a couple of holes in. Using auto supports it puts some support inside the hollowed model, plus I modify the external supports and add/remove as the model requires. Then I slice the model and run it through the Photon File Validator and fix what islands it can, but quite often it leaves islands that are inside the hollowed section and Chitubox doesn't let me create supports to fix these islands. Now most of the islands are only a pixel or 2 near the inside edge.
Is it fine to ignore the 2 or 3 internal islands it reports or is there any videos or help that help with supporting these islands inside the model?
Or alternatively is there a better way to hollow a model so these internal islands are not created?
Cheers
