Did I buy the wrong screen replacement for my original photon? Is there a second spot to check the lcd screen is connected fully? is it okay to remove the black tape and replace it with new electrical tape to make sure everything is connected? Had to replace my lcd screen and it isnt showing anything when I try the UV test.

Original photos n. Replaced the screen after the cable detached from the top side when the screen was stuck the the bottom of the vat.
Put in the replacement, but it was making a weird grinding noise and it wasn't printing correctly. Reattached cable and checked, and now when trying to do the uv detection, it seems to just be the backlight showing.
Where do I go from here?
