I am in the same boat

I have ordered a bunch of stuff from amazon with that ship date and it has all come in within 2-5 days of ordering it.

That's my hope

Try the FEP from McMaster Carr. They sell it by the foot, and it's less than Amazon. Just cut it to size.

March 27 ... Ordered 500ml Anycubic Grey. Delivery estimated by MAY2 .... But it will be delivered Saturday April 4 ... which is 9 days ... While not the two day Prime delivery time, but it seems that Amazon is estimating LONG delivery dates just in case their delivery systems get overloaded with priority items customers need most

What ended up being the final verdict on supports?

Conan Lloyd lol didn't want to be nit picky more was just hoping for a collaboration..

No worries Josh , I thought it was funny that I unconsciously combined the 2.

Jury is still out. The one you did got to about 75% and failed at the top. This one was one I did using the photon software and put a bunch of medium supports on it. When I get a fully clean one I'll let you know how it got supported.

I’m testing settings for water washable resin now.. so I’ll be trying all sorts of new supports

Is that light support setting ?
If maybe you medium on that with sups running up the back to the top,( you might have already can’t tell from one sided pic)

Been on angle is good but will stop resin pooling inside, besides back support issue I don’t see anything that could off?

The internal supports will probably fuse to the model honestly

Conan Lloyd personally I’d get rid of those supports do the back manually,
That way it’s going now is fine because of the angle of the dangle, they won’t oool resin and shouldn’t have any back support issue aslong as supported from the back

I would try to angle it back more actually. Not totally flat, but angled more. Just to see if that removes the need for internal supports. And I would go heavies all over the back with a raft to make sure the surface area of the print isn't greater than the surface area of the supports

That is a large piece or resen just hanging there. The supports are good my concern whoud be it pulling off the plate with so few. Give it a few main large supports in the center of the peace and a few mid around the edges.

And maybe a few more to fill in the footing just to give you a little more grab on the plate

Yeah. More supports (heavy) and a raft. The heavier your piece, the more supports you need.

That looks good to me for the edges. Need to get some in the middle of your design, too.

All the blank space needs to be supported.

Conan Lloyd dont feel like you need to cover every space, but maybe a few more on the top half. I normally do a fun design out of supports just to make myself chuckle.

No they're not heavies. Was getting an idea for placement and coverage then will go back and do the actual setting Michael

Conan Lloyd if that's around 100mm like a gargantuan dnd base, I have success with 10-12 heavies around the outside, and a smiley face in the middle. Maybe add eyebrows to the smiley if I'm extra worried

And obviously support the first few pixels to show up too

There is a great show called Locke & Key that came from a comic series by Joe Hill. The keys all do special things. For example, this is the Anywhere Key which when inserted in a lock and used, can let the user open the door to any other door they have seen. So you could use it on your front door and have it open to a door on a street in Paris.

Ah! I watched the first episode but it didn’t really stick with me

Yes I had one small support fail with the leg, but I'm happy with the overall print. More was wishing it had the powers from the show.

Check out "The Lost Room" Similar key in it. Great mini series.

The spaghetti mess was a desktop organizer that made it to about 75% before it detached from the build plate due to warping. I’ll try again with some lowered cooling.

And the Photon fail would have been the Anywhere, Head, and Music Box keys from Locke & Key.

How do you find the Ender3? Thinking about ordering one to go with my photon.

I love it. I have 2 of them. The one I had the fail on is bone stock, (the fail was because my basement office was too cold so the PLA curled off the plate), and the seond is modified with a silent board and the Hemera direct drive

I may have to order a pro to play with during lockdown
