anyone here successfully using Chitubox on Linux? I gave it a try when it first came out and thought I would try it again now but the problems still persist.

As you can see from the screenshot the tops do not merge with the middle. And also there is no way of getting the sphere connection to work. The support on the far right that does not make contact with the model at all is supposed to have a sphere connection.

any tips on how to solve this?

looking for recommendations for a strong resin that can be used for a propeller print (for a small boat engine).

I have printed this model with anycubic resin and even with added flex the blades will still break after an hour of use. Experimented with thicker blades, thinner ones and the outcome is the same.

Ideally looking for tough resin that can withstand the forces of water and fast rotation of the engine and most importantly can be sourced from the EU.

I was asked to print a skull pen holder.
Skull model is from thingiverse: soul skull
used meshmixer to create a hollow tube for the pen and filled the rest of the skull with sand to add more weight. Finished with rub n buff ebony and silver.

looking for some insight from the photonhood.

there are 10 kittens in total and only one is missing a hind leg, looks like it squashed up. Nothing stuck to the fep and the kittens were sliced with all feet touching the build plate.

Preview in the slicer looks fine and I am using anycubic black with settings that work well.

Any idea what could be the cause of this limping kitty? unfortunately i noticed it after the ipa bath and have no idea if it was at the edge of the build plate, I always leave a safety margin

]Solved] - setting normal exposure to 14 did the trick :)

Having a partial failure of supports with the anycubic red.
Printed the same model with green a while ago and came out perfect.
Settings for red were 0.05-12-6.5-50-8
Wondering if upping normal exposure will give better results or if it's another setting I need to play with
